The Windermere Foundation

The Windermere Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, created by Windermere Real Estate for the purpose of raising and providing funds to support homeless assistance programs throughout the Northwest. Since 1989, nearly $5 million has been raised to provide shelter, clothing, food and other services to homeless families.

  The Windermere Commitment

The Windermere Foundation is unique in the way it is funded. Every time a Windermere Real Estate associate sells a home, a portion of the commission is donated directly to the Foundation. Additional contributions are generated through donations from Windermere agents, employees, owners and managers, as well as from the public

.  How The Foundation Works

• Agent Commissions
  Every time a Windermere agent completes a real estate transaction, a portion of his or her commission is donated directly to the Foundation.
• Individual Donations
  Windermere agents, salaried employees and the public contribute funds directly to Foundation projects.
• The Application Process
  Social services agencies that help homeless families can apply for Windermere Foundation funds by contacting their neighborhood Windermere office for information.
